Have you ever wondered...

Do I have to give up financial success to be an artist?

The only reason people think artists can't be business minded is because they don't know business.

Business is a creative, problem solving process. And creativity is an artist's JAM!
Are you willing to...

Try something new to get you closer to your goals?

There are not enough grants, funding, awards, and all that other stuff to go around.

When used well, business helps you to make your art without having to satisfy anyone else's requirements. Just you and your customers.
Do you want to...

Take your career and life into your own hands?

Have you ever stared at a blank canvas for hours, unsure where to start?

Business actually inspires artists because it gives them some consistency and parameters to create their work around.

A note from host and founder of The Artist's Guide to Business
Dear Artist,

Two years ago, I came across a post from an incredibly talented artist who was frustrated that her pet portraits weren’t selling. Her first instinct? To lower her already low prices. It felt wrong—her work was beautiful, and slashing prices wasn’t the answer. But to my shock, countless artists in the comments urged her to do just that.

I couldn’t stay quiet. I suggested something different: instead of undervaluing her art, she needed to rethink how she was presenting it, how she was marketing it. The lightbulb went off for her instantly, and she was so grateful to have someone see the value in her work—someone who offered a real solution.

That’s when it hit me. The struggle artists face isn’t about talent or personality—it’s about access to the right business tools and strategies. The problems in our industry won't fix themselves. It’s up to us, as artists, to support one another.

That’s why I created The Artist's Guide to Business.
I hope you will join me as it, and as you, grow.
